It is oppropriate for any age, but some words may be to difficult for some people. It is funny, exicting, and just plain fun to read. There are many other books written by Shel Silversteil like "Where the Sidewalk Ends" and if you speak another language. It's okay because the books of Shel Silverstein are written in 30 different languages and maybe one of those languages is yours.I would really recomend this book because the first time I read it I loved it so much that read a few more times!
